Excellon Will Exhibit Machvision Hole-AOI at IPC Expo 2003
Excellon Automation Company will introduce the Machvision Hole-AOI to the North American market at the Printed Circuit Expo in Long Beach at booth #1040.
The Hole-AOI system is designed for 100% inspection of through-hole position, diameter and quality in printed circuit boards. Detailed statistical analysis tools and comprehensive reports help to identify the source of potential quality problems in the drilling process.
The Hole-AOI system can efficiently be used to develop drilling parameters for new products or materials, to optimize production yield, to document the quality of finished products and to help maintain drilling machines running at peak performance.
"Our customers in North America specialize more and more on prototypes, exotic materials and quick-turn production," said Dr. Michael Kauf, Product Marketing Manager with Excellon. "We see opportunities that the Hole-AOI can be used to speed up the development of drill parameters for exotic materials, for 100% test of prototypes and for statistical tests during volume production. It can even be used as a sales tool to raise your customer's confidence by adding a comprehensive report that documents the quality of your products shipped."
With more than 50 systems already installed worldwide the Hole-AOI system has already proven itself to be a very effective and versatile tool to enhance the capabilities of the drilling process.
Please visit Excellon at booth #1040 for a live demo of the Hole-AOI system and ask your Excellon contact for more information.
