Excellon Automation announces the formation of a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in China.

Torrance, CA - July 15, 2004, - Excellon Automation announces that it has completed the process of establishing a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE). This is the last official step for Excellon to begin conducting business and manufacturing in China.

Excellon Automation announced that it is establishing a manufacturing facility in Chengdu, China to build equipment to satisfy its Asian demand.

"This operation, owned and operated by Excellon Automation, is located in the Chengdu Export Processing Zone,. This will augment our Manufacturing operation in Torrance, California which will continue to build product for our Western Customers as well as provide pilot production for new products." Excellon Automation's Vice President of Finance Stephen Tan added, "This Manufacturing operation added to our already operating Sales and Service facility in Hong Kong, and the recently announced partnership with HCTek in Taiwan will provide quicker access to products, service, and technical support for our growing customer base in Asia."
