Excellon Automation announces the release of its Concept 129 Intelli-Drill® Database and Search Utility

Torrance , CA – January 18, 2006 – Excellon Automation is pleased to announce our latest solution in helping our customers improve production yields

The Concept 129 Intelli-Drill™ was unveiled at the IPC/APEX EXPO at the Anaheim, CA Convention Center February 22-24, 2005. We have now enhanced the product to include a companion Database and Search Utility, Together these products will provide the tools to inspect and measure internal layer movement, then assist in using this information to improve process yields.

The Concept 129 Intelli-Drill™ and Database will be demonstrated at the 2006 IPC/APEX EXPO February 8-10. 2006.

The Concept 129 Intelli-Drill Database comes in two parts:

1. The Database which is loaded by the CNC-7 Controller during panel inspection

2. The Search Utility which allows the user to search for data and perform statistical analysis. This data is then fed back to the beginning of the PCB design process to improve production process yields

The Database can easily be searched from any networked PC.
