CORE CREDITS
Returning your parts that can be repaired or refurbished for core credit can reduce the cost of maintaining your Excellon equipment.
What is a core credit?
Certain parts that are able to be repaired or refurbished can be returned to Excellon for credit against the purchase of a replacement part.
Contact Excellon Parts Department customer service (1-800-EXCELLON) or check PARTLINK on Excellon’s web site to see if the part(s) you are replacing have a core value. If you have a part that’s eligible for core credit ask your customer service representative for an RMA number to return the core part while placing your order. This number must be written on the outside of the box that you return the part in. When Excellon receives your core, a core credit will then be applied to your account after evaluation and acceptance.
* The parts must be returned within 30 days domestic or 60 days international to receive credit. All parts returned after this will be returned to you and no credit will be given.
How can I tell if a part can be returned for core credit?
Go to www.excellon.com, put the curser under parts menu, scroll down to ‘PARTLINK’ and left click on the mouse. When you type in the part number it will have a box with domestic cores value amount if it has a core value.
How much is the core credit?
It varies depending on the part. You can find the core credit value on PARTLINK by following the instructions above. |
