RETURN PARTS PROCEDURE
All parts being returned to Excellon must first receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. To receive an RMA number, call Excellon Parts Department Customer Service at 1-800-EXCELLON and follow the instructions below. RMA numbers will be issued for only the following parts:
Parts claimed under warranty (machine or parts)

Parts returned for core credit. Parts eligible for core credit are identified by a “+” at the end of part description which can be found in Partlink on the Excellon web site.

Parts being returned because the wrong part was ordered or you ordered extra parts that you wish to return. These returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

Parts being returned for repair

Software that needs to be modified for keyless software, part number 333333-55
All parts received without an RMA number will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.
Warranty Returns:

If you have a part you purchased from an Excellon Authorized Service Provider (ASP) that is under warranty, please contact the ASP.

In order to expedite your order for a warranty replacement part we will ship you a replacement part immediately without waiting until we receive your returned part. To facilitate the advanced shipment, you will be charged for the replacement parts and full credit will be given when we receive your returned part and it has been accepted based on our failure analysis review.

When parts are claimed as machine or parts warranty, please have the following information available when you call.

Items returned under machine warranty need machine type and serial # (where applicable)

Items returned under parts warranty need invoice # part was originally shipped on and serial # (where applicable)

PO # for the replacement part

Write you RMA number on the outside of the box the parts are retuned in to expedite processing.
Non-Warranty Returns:
For returns of other non-warranty items, simply call Excellon Parts Department Customer Service at 1-800-EXCELLON with the serial number of all of the parts being returned as appropriate, to receive an RMA number you must have a PO number for replacement parts. Remember to write this RMA number on the outside of the box that the parts are returned in. Please note that not all parts are eligible for returned.
*Please remember, in order to receive credit parts must be returned within 30 days for domestic returns or 60 days for international returns of when the RMA number is issued. All parts returned after this will be returned to you without credit.
Spindle Repair / Spindle Exchange:
If you have a spindle for return that is under warranty, please follow the warranty return procedure outlined above. For your convenience, Excellon offers both a spindle repair and a spindle exchange service. Click here to learn more about Excellon’s spindle repair and exchange service.
Spindle Repair:
To receive an RMA number for a spindle you want repaired, call Excellon Parts Department Customer Service 1-800-EXCELLON. The customer service representative will ask you for a PO number to cover an initial $100 evaluation charge that will be applied to your repair once you accept the quote. You’ll also need the spindle type and serial number.
Once Excellon receives your spindle we’ll evaluate the failure mode and provide a detailed quote to perform the repair. You must authorize the quote before we will begin any work.
Spindle Exchange:
If you need a replacement spindle immediately, you can use our Spindle Exchange service. We’ll immediately ship you a replacement spindle (new or refurbished, you decide) and provide you an RMA number to return the failed spindle for core credit.
Call Excellon Parts Department Customer Service at 1-800-EXCELLON to place your order for the replacement spindle and receive an RMA number for your core return. You’ll need to have a PO number for the replacement spindle and spindle type and serial number of the spindle being returned for core credit.
