SPINDLES

New Spindles

Air Bearing Spindles: 12 months from date of shipment from factory
Ball Bearing Spindles: 6 months from date of shipment from factory

Repaired Spindles

Air Bearing Spindles: 6 months from date of shipment from factory
Ball Bearing Spindles: 4 months from date of shipment from factory

Exchanged Spindles

Air Bearing Spindles: 6 months from date of shipment from factory
Ball Bearing Spindles: 4 months from date of shipment from factory

PARTS

New and reconditioned parts are covered for ninety days after shipment from factory. Parts replaced under this warranty are warranted with the remainder of the original warranty or thirty days whichever is longer.

Excellon warrants the spindles and parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period set forth above for the specific spindle or part. The sole responsibility of Excellon under the foregoing warranties shall be, at its option, to repair or replace any defective part or component which fails during the warranty period, Ex-Factory. Replacement parts will be furnished on an exchange basis, and will be either new or certified replacement parts. The foregoing warranties do not extend to disposable parts and components supplied for use, including but not limited to collets.

All Excellon warranties hereunder are conditioned upon proper use of the spindle and parts in the application for which it is intended and no warranty shall apply to:

1. Any product modification, service or repair made by or on behalf of Purchaser, other than by Excellon, without the written approval of Excellon
2. Spindle or parts damage caused by accident, neglect, misuse, air conditioning, humidity control, failure of electric power, failure to comply with applicable operating instructions.
3. Spindles that were damaged as a result of a collet that is not authorized by Excellon or not supplied by Excellon, or if such a collet were in use when the spindle was damaged.
4. Any equipment or part that has been disassembled or dismantled.
5. Any equipment not installed in compliance with the appropriate installation specification.
6. Any other cause than ordinary use.

The foregoing warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or conditions, expressed or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose). Repair or replacement in the manner provided above shall be the sole and exclusive remedy of Purchaser for breach of warranty and shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of Excellon with respect to the quality and performance of the spindle and parts.

Excellon shall not be liable to Purchaser, whether in contract or in tort (including negligence and strict liability), for loss or damage to property of Purchaser or others, loss of use, loss of revenues or profits, or for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damage whatsoever.

RETURNED GOODS POLICY

1. Parts are covered by the stated Excellon Automation warranty terms and conditions.
2. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number needs to be issued by Excellon Order Processing Department prior to the return of goods.
3. All shipping charges are paid by the customer (freight collect).
4. A 15% inspection, testing and restocking charge will be applied to all returned goods. All parts need to be returned within 90 days of shipment from the factory.
